This is Albert our pet fish. He is a Japanese killer fish aka Betta fish. The other day, Mike, found him lying on one of the leafs in his bowl. He has interesting ways to communicate. He knows when I am about to feed him and as soon as he sees me holding his little pellets he does somersaults. It is fun just watching him. More later...
The past and present issues that shape how we think and feel about the economic and political impact women make around the world.

Test of faith and character
The test of my faith and character is not what I do in the exceptional moments of life, but what I do in the ordinary times, when there is nothing tremendous or exciting taking place.

Destiny demands diligence
Vision is a mental picture of my future. I have moved on and I am no longer looking, now I SEE. I pushed myself from fear to courage (albeit still trembling) and visualized my destiny. It seems a little blurry with many pieces, like a jigsaw puzzle. But I know there is a solid picture within the pieces. I have to diligently work the pieces together, each day, until I get the essence of the picture. I have to persist, press on, not give up. My destiny demands diligence.

Let's Talk - Intro
Welcome to my blog - Let's Talk. My purpose is to engage you for a moment with topics/issues that I am thinking about and sometimes struggling with from a thinker's perspective with the hope - sometimes - of linking it to the heart.
Let's talk about vision - purpose. It has been said that "Eyes that look are common, but eyes that see are rare". Those who have found their vision - their purpose - their calling - live life in its fulness. There are those who have not found their vision and are searching, others have found it but are stuck in confusion or fear, and others who have abandoned their purpose because of discouragement, disillusionment, fear and or frustration.
Have you found/identified your vision? Are your eyes looking or do they see? Let's talk.
